I planted the cabbage seeds on Father’s Day simply because I had time to do it that morning. But as I was filling the bucket with soil, I remembered my father’s love of gardening and growing food. (He passed away about two years ago.) He was always very good with plants. Me, not so much. I thought to myself, “If these cabbage seeds actually sprout, I will know that he’s smiling down on me.” And wallah!
